L´abbaye Neuzelle est un internat privé avec des fondations extraordinaires: il est fondé sur les prémisses d´un ancien monastère fondé en 1268. Ces fondations sont très belles et on peut vraiment ressentir l´histoire passée.. L´école se situe au centre d´un petit village appelé aussi Neuzelle. Berlin est à environ 130 km, la ville la plus proche est Eisenhüttenstadt (8km).

L´école est petite et les étudiants étrangers s´y sentent très bien. Neuzelle requiert le niveau en allemand B1 – si ton niveau est inférieur, tu peux prendre d´abord un cours de base (qui est donné à Berlin) et ensuite rentrer à l école.

The School

The 10-hectar campus is situated in the idyllic foothills of the Alps directly on the west bank of lake Ammersee and includes 27 buildings and a private dock on the lake. It is a fully state-accredited secondary school with a languages branch and an economics branch. The educational ideal of “Learning with MIND, HEART and HAND” implies a holistic approach to education, which emphasizes social and practical skills in addition to academics.

Accommodation:

Half of the German students live at home, most boarders are international students. Students are accommodated in different boarding houses on campus in comfortable double and triple rooms with ensuite bathroom and WiFi. They are looked after by dorm parents and mentors. The school offers freshly prepared meals each day, preferring local, seasonal and organic products and ingredients from the region.

For health and medical support, an on-campus infirmary and a staff of trained nurses, supported by a local doctor, are available to the students.
